MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT
International Association of Transformational Game Practitioners (IATGP)

1. General Provisions
1.1. This Membership Agreement (the “Agreement”) governs the terms and conditions of participation of individuals in the activities of the International Association of Transformational Game Practitioners (the “Association”), incorporated and operating under the Canada Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (S.C. 2009, c.23).
1.2. This Agreement constitutes a public offer of the Association. Acceptance of its terms is a mandatory condition for obtaining membership in and participating in the activities of the Association.
1.3. Acceptance of this Agreement is effected by performing an affirmative action, including clicking the “I Agree” button on the official website of the Association or by executing the Agreement electronically.
1.4. By accepting this Agreement, the individual (the “Member”) confirms that they have read, understood and agree to comply with:

this Agreement;
-
the Articles of Incorporation and By-laws of the Association;
-
internal policies, regulations and procedures of the Association;
-
the Ethical & Professional Code of the Association.
2. Membership Conditions
2.1. General Eligibility Requirements
An individual may become a Member of the Association provided that such individual:
-
has reached the age of majority under applicable law;
-
has confirmed professional qualifications through education, professional training or equivalent experience acceptable to the Association;

holds a valid international Practitioner ID Certificate issued by the Association;
-
has accepted this Agreement;
-
has paid the applicable membership fee corresponding to the selected level of participation.
2.2. Possession of a Practitioner ID Certificate confirms professional qualification but does not, by itself, constitute active membership without payment of applicable membership fees.
2.2. Membership Admission Procedure
2.2.1. Applications for membership are submitted through the official form available on the Association’s website.
2.2.2. Upon submission of the application, the applicant pays the membership fee corresponding to the selected participation level.
2.2.3. Applications are reviewed by the Board of Directors of the Association or a person authorized by the Board, who verifies compliance with membership requirements.
2.2.4. The decision on admission or refusal is communicated to the applicant by email.
2.2.5. In the event of refusal, the applicant shall receive notice specifying the reasons for the decision.
2.2.6. The applicant may file an appeal within 30 calendar days from receipt of such notice. The decision on appeal shall be final.
2.2.7. Membership is granted for the paid period and maintained through annual payment of membership fees.
2.2.8. Membership becomes active upon confirmation by the Association and receipt of payment.
3. Rights of Members
Each Member has the right to:
-
receive information regarding the activities, projects and decisions of the Association;

participate in programs, initiatives and events of the Association in accordance with the selected level of participation;
-
submit proposals and inquiries to the Association;
-
receive educational, methodological and professional support managed by the Association;
-
use the status of Member in professional activities in compliance with applicable rules and ethical standards;
-
participate in working groups, committees and expert councils;
-
participate in professional meetings, supervision and other forms of professional development;
-
exercise other rights provided by the internal documents of the Association.
4. Obligations of Members
Each Member undertakes to:
-
comply with this Agreement, internal policies and the Ethical & Professional Code;
-
pay membership fees in a timely manner;
-
maintain the professional reputation of the Association;
-
avoid conflicts of interest and misuse of membership status;
-
provide information reasonably requested by the Association for the fulfilment of its statutory objectives;
-
maintain confidentiality with respect to non-public information obtained through participation in the Association.
5. Participation Levels (Membership Levels)
5.1. General Provisions
5.1.1. The Association establishes participation levels that define the scope of access and benefits available to Members and do not create separate legal classes of members.
5.1.2. All Members hold equal membership status. Differences relate solely to services and participation levels.
5.1.3. The international Practitioner ID Certificate is issued on an indefinite basis; however, active membership status depends on payment of applicable membership fees.
5.2. Participation Levels
5.2.1. Base
Includes:
-
official membership status in IATGP;
-
access to the professional community;
-
participation in online meetings;
-
access to methodological resources;
-
participation in initiatives and open programs of the Association.
5.2.2. Pro
Includes all Base level benefits, plus:
-
extended access to educational and professional resources;
-
priority participation in Association projects;
-
participation in expert and mentoring programs;
-
recommendation by the Association as a professional specialist.
5.2.3. Coordinator
Includes all Pro level benefits, plus:
-
coordination of Association activities at a regional or thematic level;
-
organization of local events and initiatives;
-
mentoring and representation of the Association under separate written agreement.
Coordinator status does not create employment, agency, partnership or fiduciary relationships, unless expressly established by a separate written contract.
6. Suspension and Termination of Membership
6.1. Membership may be terminated:
-
upon written request of the Member;
-
upon expiration of the paid membership period;
-
due to non-payment of membership fees;
-
for violation of this Agreement, internal documents or the Ethical & Professional Code;
-
for actions causing reputational, legal or material harm to the Association.
6.2. Decisions regarding suspension or termination are made by the Board of Directors or an authorized representative of the Association.
6.3. The Member shall be notified of the decision by email.
6.4. The Member may submit an appeal within 30 calendar days. The appeal decision shall be final.
6.5. Termination of membership does not revoke the Practitioner ID Certificate but removes all rights and privileges of active membership.
7. Financial Provisions
7.1. Membership fee amounts and payment procedures are determined by the Board of Directors and published on the Association’s official website.
7.2. Membership fees are non-refundable except as expressly approved by the Association.
8. Confidentiality
8.1. Members shall maintain confidentiality of non-public Association information.
8.2. Use or distribution of Association materials is permitted only with prior written consent of the Association.
9. Liability
9.1. The Association is not responsible for individual professional actions of Members.
9.2. The Member acknowledges and agrees that membership in the International Association of Transformational Game Practitioners (IATGP) does not guarantee employment, job placement, income, client referrals, professional success or any specific career or economic outcome.
9.3. Violations of this Agreement may result in disciplinary measures in accordance with internal policies.
10. Term and Renewal
10.1. This Agreement enters into force upon acceptance.
10.2. The Agreement remains in effect for the duration of active membership and is renewed automatically upon renewal of membership.
11. Governing Law and Language
11.1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, including the Canada Not-for-Profit Corporations Act.
11.2. This Agreement is executed in Russian and English. In the event of any discrepancy, the English version shall prevail.
